I had the idea of publishing my own photography publication driven completely by photographs taken in Chicago. The only words would be in the masthead and photography credits. (I would allow the photographers to include contact information such as website and/or phone.) With the rise of digital photography such visions become a reality. Photographers would simply upload their photos to an ftp server, or through email, or they could snail mail me a disk.Though I have run into a bit of a stumbling block with printing and distributing the publication. I could set this up as an online only venture. However, I believe there is still a strong value behind print.
