3-dimensional mailer
Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo Treasury Management was entering new markets in the northeast and southeast U.S. In each of these markets, they were the new kids on the block and faced entrenched competition. Wells Fargo wanted a premium mailer that would grab the attention of senior treasury officers.
This project celebrated Wells Fargo's brand as an established bank (in business since 1852) that offers industry-leading services. Their brand emphasizes its western roots with in-house imagery of rugged cowboys safely transporting protected cargo across the countryside via horseback. That strong sense of nostalgia was heightened throughout the package with the use of classic scrolls, weathered maps and map-like elements, aged cards, and a warm, vintage-like brochure. A compass premium was included to further enhance this great western trail notion.
Supporting copy emphasized Wells Fargo's storied past while emphasizing its cutting-edge solutions only available from the leaders in the field.
The goal was clear as a result of this package's richly deep colors, tactile textures, and on-target messaging: to cut through the clutter, get past office gatekeepers, get opened, and grab the attention of senior level prospects.
