French Fry Week

Since Dynamite Week was such a “smashing” success (Aug. 21-25), I have decided to announce the week of October 2-5 as French Fry Week at unlikelymoose.com. This week we’ll celebrate all that’s french fries. Who can imagine a better one-two punch than dynamite and french fries?

QUICK LINK
here’s how to look at french fries as if you are running your own restaurant.

Hey, so, an unrelated comment. I heard that Dusty Baker is out. What’s up with that?

You can bake fries. Just think of the frozed Ore-Ida fries that you buy at the grocery store. Those always went in the oven.

They were never as good as the fried ones, but it can be done.

Fried fries RULE, but I do admit to liking the Ore Ida “Extra Crispy” or “Crispy Crinkles” [whatever they are called]. I usually bake them quite a bit longer than what is called for because I like my fries very crispy.

Either way is made immensely better by topping the fries with melted Cheese and Bacon.

If you want to take it one step further, top it off with some Chili. Then dip the fries in Sour Cream for maximum flavor. Good stuff!!!

Has anyone tried those Chicken Fries at BK? I know they’re not really fries, more like cylindrical chicken nuggets, but they look tasty anyway.

Who else is hungry???
