men’s watches reviews and some links

Ok. Ok. A number of you will bust me for backblogging. But I have a blog item that is too long to put into one post, so I’m spreading them out over various days.

—————————

Here’s the group of watches that I’m considering. The number at the end of the file name is how much the watch costs. The coming posts will be spent doing a mini-mini review of each watch shown here. It’s nice seeing all the watches together so it’s easy to compare and contrast the watches. With the future posts, I will try to post a larger image of the watch. Details say alot in watches.

My “current” watch was lost about 12 months ago. I’ve been using my cell phone to tell time. annoying to say the least.

The watch that i lost is watch “I”. Nice and simple Kenneth Cole watch. I’ve received quite a few complements on this watch… all from females… big bonus points for that.

I can’t get away with wearing a super big, busy watch. I have small wrists, so my watch needs to have a certain sense of order or else it looks like I’m wearing a brick on my wrist.

The field has been narrowed down to the following brands:
Citizen
Diesel
Kenneth Cole

My existing watch is pretty similar to Watches J and L. It’s even a Kenneth Cole. I agree on the “no white watch faces” thing. They’re too stark. I generally prefer a blue, green, or black face, but I currently have a silverish blue faced watch and it’s pretty nice as well.

The Nighthawk watch seems nice at first glance but then the busy-ness of the face and the tapered watchband turn me off.

I’m with Tom. C, G, H & K
Note how all these incorporate straight lines into the shape of the face.
Straight lines. Cool.

I just went to the Kenneth Cole store today and saw watch G in person. Although it was with a leather band. And it looked SHARP. You want compliments, get this watch with the black leather band, hands down.
