useful character count tool

I’m looking into building a photoblog section on my website. Photoshop offers a “Web Photo Gallery” tool. It doesn’t do everything I want, so I was playing around with alternative uses of what they offer. They have character fields and I wanted to see how many characters I could fit in the field. I developed the following chunk of text for character counts:

12345678 10 345678 20 345678 30 345678 40 345678 50 345678 60 345678 70 345678 80 345678 90 345678 100 45678 110 45678 120 45678 130 45678 140 45678 150 45678 160 45678 170 45678 180 45678 190 45678 200 45678 210 45678 220 45678 230 45678 240 45678 250 45678

Let’s use “130 45678” as an example. The “1” in “130” is the 130th character in the body of text. The “3” in “130” is the 131st character. The “0” in “130” is the 132nd character. The space between “130” and “45678” is the 133rd character. The “4” in 45678 is the 134th character. The “5” in 45678 is the 135th character and so on! Pretty cool huh?
